Lisa Ondak joined MajorGiving.com in March 2002 bringing fourteen years of non-profit arts experience in publicity, marketing and development to the team. As a member of the practice, she has worked with more than 20 public broadcasting stations helping to expand their major giving efforts. She currently is the principal consultant for more than a dozen stations including Wyoming Public Radio, Koahnic Broadcasting's KNBA and Valley Public Radio.
Lisa began her career working in publicity at Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) in Houston, Texas. She then moved to the Humphreys School of Musical Theatre, the teaching wing of TUTS, as Marketing and Development Director. Following that position, she served as the Annual Fund Manager for the overall organization.
Moving to Syracuse, New York, in 1995, Lisa was the Associate Director of Development for the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra where she solicited major gifts and coordinated the board's annual fund campaign efforts. She returned to TUTS in 1997 as the Associate Director of Development. Responsibilities included securing corporate, foundation, government and individual contributions. Her overall development experience also consists of cultivation and stewardship of major gifts, overseeing special events, corporate and foundation relations, grant writing, and donor club administration.
A graduate of Texas A&M University, Lisa resides in the Denver area with her husband, Stephen, and two daughters, Hannah and Sarah.
